Dear friends and colleagues
The British Environmental Psychology Society is excited to announce our 8th BrEPS conference, to be held July 11th & 12th at the University of Portsmouth in Portsmouth. We hope you can join us at this in-person event.
The theme of the conference will be "Elevating Environmental Psychology research in everyday life, practice and policy: Reflective dialogues". BrEPS is a society that aims to bring environmental psychology researchers together, helping people network, learn about new developments, and get support in conducting research. We believe that we can learn a lot from each other - not just the results of our research, but also how to deal with common challenges and hurdles along the way!
In this conference, we focus especially on the increasing awareness, application, and impact of environmental psychology research in our research careers, practice, policy, and our everyday lives. We would like to take this opportunity to invite reflections on the application and impact of your important research for the benefit of ourselves and our environment and the environment. We request that the submission address this, hoping that this will create an engaging platform to reflect on the vitality of environmental psychology research.
As always, we welcome early career environmental psychologists: MSc and PhD students, postdocs, and anyone else getting familiar with the field and/or academic work. Those more established in their career who are looking to connect with and support those in earlier stages of career development are also very welcome.
We hope to provide an interactive, and engaging, conference in which participants can take part, in a beneficial way, for themselves and others. To facilitate this, we invite participants to submit their abstracts on or before 29th April 11:59pm (GMT+1) for presentations in the following formats:
